Using 3D animation to bring alive Piggott and Whitfield’s wide range of building services.

Piggott and Whitfield are one of the UK’s most experienced building services companies. Their range of activities is extremely wide, taking in design and build expertise, mechanical and electrical, design, supply, installation and maintenance of MEP solutions, fibre optics, wireless networks, surveillance systems and much more.

When conducting presentations to prospective clients, the company was using CAD drawing, diagrams, flow charts, PowerPoint presentations and other conventional methods of getting across everything they do.

Whilst successful as a company, nobody was happy with Piggott and Whitfield new business presentations, which could take half an hour or even longer, were complicated and could easily lose an audience’s attention.

HTP were asked to look at a different way of handling company introductions – perhaps using a 3D animation sequence instead of dozens of slides and diagrams.

The sequence we developed and produced managed to get across visually all key aspects of the company’s services in just over one minute, bringing alive what the company is all about with clarity and simplicity. The client was delighted.
